2011 Annual Report


What a year!! Completed construction of the Ekialo Kiona Center, installed a drip irrigation on the farm, enrolled over 1,400 Mfangano residents into our unique HIV "post-test" club...

Tower Up!

Ekialo Kiona has successfully constructed a 56-foot communications mast near the top of Soklo Mountain on Mfangano Island. 

This mast will relay high-speed internet to the island from Kisumu, 70-km to the Northeast, as well as serve as the FM Broadcast Transmitter for the EK Youth Radio Station.
